The argument
The Christian system developed a triune god, a God-man Christ, a sacramental priesthood, an authorized visual world, coercive boundaries, and imperial custodianship. Those features cannot simply be read backward into Acts as if they were the original assembly in mature form.
Why it matters
Loyalty to Yahweh and Yeshua must be separated from loyalty to the institution that later claimed exclusive custody of them.
What this teaching does not claim
Judging a system does not license contempt for every person formed within it. Mercy toward captives and judgment of captivity can coexist.
