The argument
Paul expects each one to bring a hymn, teaching, revelation, tongue, or interpretation for the building of the assembly. Several may speak, others judge, and all things proceed in order. This is neither clerical theater nor leaderless chaos.
Why it matters
The gathering itself becomes training in responsibility, discernment, humility, and mutual service.
What this teaching does not claim
Equal human worth does not mean every claim is equally sound. Speech remains subject to time, order, testing, correction, and the good of others.
