The argument
Christianity arose within Rome, carried lamb-like claims, performed signs, gave sacred speech to an image, and made allegiance socially consequential. It did not merely coexist with empire; it taught nations how to worship through Rome's Christ-image.
Why it matters
The most dangerous religious system may present itself as the protector of Christ while operating as the interpreter and spiritual voice of the Beast.
What this teaching does not claim
The identification is cumulative and should be tested across text and history. It does not turn every Christian act or person into conscious service of evil.
