A statement of intellectual method

We are conducting a continuing investigation.

This is the method statement we intend to place at the beginning of future Resurrection Society publications.

We are not writing a systematic theology in which every new book must defend every previous conclusion. Some books explore maximal theological possibilities; others examine minimalist historical reconstructions. A thesis can be pursued seriously without becoming a permanent confession of belief.

A contradiction between books written at different stages of inquiry is not necessarily an intellectual defect. It may record a change in understanding, a different methodological lens, or two competing hypotheses being tested.

Our obligation is to represent the evidence accurately, acknowledge changes of mind, and never protect a hypothesis merely because we once published it.

A Civilization of Human Ordinariness

Yeshua of Nazareth and the Art of Being Human

The Society’s founding philosophy: a life shaped by truth, attention, mercy, freedom, fellowship, stewardship, and the honest awareness of mortality. It asks how the human example of Yeshua can help us build a culture in which ordinary lives receive extraordinary care.

The House of the Way

Hospitality, Fellowship, and the Art of Making Room for One Another

A book about welcome as a practice: sharing a table, receiving a stranger, building friendship, and making belonging possible without possession or pressure. Its House of the Way is both a gathering place and an invitation to make the idea real in ordinary relationships.

The Son of Man

Yeshua Beyond the Messiah: The Prophecies, the Unfulfilled Kingdom, and the Recovery of the Human One

A historical and scriptural investigation of messianic expectation, the Kingdom that did not arrive as many expected, and the title Son of Man. The book asks what can be responsibly said about Yeshua and the human future while leaving its arguments open to challenge.

Why We Are Post-Dogmatic

From the Search for Correct Belief to the Human Way of Yeshua

An account of moving from the search for certainty through the history of scripture and doctrine toward a way of life centered on the human Yeshua. It argues for continued inquiry, humility about belief, and a community where conscience remains free.

These works are offered freely for public reading and discussion. Their arguments remain open to criticism; reading them does not make their conclusions a test of belonging.
