The Remainers may surround the return

Matthew's deathless witnesses may reappear as part of the testimony and gathering that precede or accompany the days of the Son of Man.

Teaching 33 of 42

The argument

If the saints remain, their first-century bodies and testimony would confront the Christian image-system with witnesses from before its creeds. Their role may be less spectacular than imagined: identification, correction, memory, healing, and witness to Yahweh's resurrection act.

Why it matters

A wineskin must be prepared before the guest arrives. Institutional habits of worship, exploitation, disbelief, and control could make recognition impossible.

What this teaching does not claim

The term Remainers is the Society's working vocabulary, not Matthew's. The future role and timing remain a synthesis rather than direct text.
