← Grade V · The Resurrection BreachProphetic Hypothesis

The raised may belong to the deathless condition

If the Matthew 27 event is resurrection in the age-to-come sense, Luke's statement that the raised “cannot die anymore” may apply to them.

Teaching 28 of 42

The argument

Yeshua distinguishes resurrection life from ordinary restored mortality. Paul calls Yeshua firstfruits and speaks of an order in the harvest. The Society asks whether Matthew's raised holy ones participate in that new condition rather than returning to ordinary death.

Why it matters

The answer determines whether the witnesses belong only to a past sign or may remain active within resurrection history.

What this teaching does not claim

Matthew does not explicitly connect the raised saints to Luke 20 or state that they never died again. The connection is a serious inference, not a printed sentence.
