The argument
The spirit moves, fills, is poured out, gives gifts, speaks through prophets, convicts, and makes alive. Its recurring images are breath, wind, water, fire, oil, and divine action. Personal language can describe Yahweh acting personally through His spirit without creating another center inside His being.
Why it matters
The biblical spirit directs attention toward Yahweh and the truth He reveals rather than toward a metaphysical third person or a power a believer can operate.
Rejecting a third divine person does not make the spirit an inert force. It is the living activity and presence of Yahweh and must never be treated as human property.
